Kelvin is the former Director of the Center for Servant Leadership, a division of the Pastoral Institute in Columbus, Georgia where he was instrumental in the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership naming Columbus, Georgia a Servant-Leader City in 2010. It was the first time in the history of the organization that a city anywhere in the world had been bestowed such an honor.
For 13 years, Kelvin worked for Synovus Financial Corporation in Columbus, Georgia, a company voted by Fortune magazine as “The Best Place to Work in America.” He held positions in human resources, branch management, customer service, governmental affairs, and relationship management; and was promoted to an assistant vice president in 1995.
Kelvin received a Bachelor of Arts in history from Auburn University and holds a Master of Science in Management degree, with a concentration in Leadership and Organizational Effectiveness, from Troy University. He his married to his wife Tanja, and they have four children.
